Submission Instructions

Please submit a short extended abstract (maximum 2 pages). Please use the workshop’s EasyChair submission page when the call opens; submission link: TBD.

All accepted submissions will be presented as posters, with a teaser talk during the morning session. Selected papers will also be invited for oral presentations. Authors will be invited to formulate a concrete question about deployment, safety, validation or certification to feed into the domain discussions and interactive clinics. Presentation details: TBD.

Contributions are welcome on (but not limited to) the following topics:

• Safety in healthcare, assistive and surgical robotics
• Safe human–robot collaboration in industry and manufacturing
• Field robotics in changing and unstructured environments
• Safety in nuclear and construction robotics
• Biomechanics, ergonomics and cognitive safety perception
• Modelling and evaluation of risk and safety
• Soft materials, compliant actuators and safe robot design
• Collision avoidance, mitigation and reflex strategies
• Impact-aware manipulation and safe physical interaction
• Reliable perception and uncertainty-aware planning and control
• Safety of learned policies and embodied AI systems
• Runtime monitoring, fault detection and safe recovery
• Verification, validation and real-world safety benchmarks
• Regulatory frameworks, standards and certification
• Safety assurance and evidence for deployment
• Deployment experience, failure analysis and lessons from practice

Submissions will be reviewed by at least two experts. Accepted authors are invited to participate in the Interdisciplinary Impact Clinics for live feedback from academia and industry professionals.

We especially encourage submissions from women, early-career researchers, and interdisciplinary teams.
